“ I always wanted people to be aware, to educate themselves about what's going on in the world and to remember what happened. I wore a Zachor (“Remember” in Hebrew) pin every day. I wanted people to remember, to never forget, and to prevent anything like this from ever happening again to anyone. I was a carpenter/cabinet-maker and I was intimately involved in the setting up the displays at the old Holocaust Memorial Center. I gave tours and spoke to students about my experiences during the Holocaust. "I believe if the world is not going to do better it can happen again." (Told by Sol’s granddaughter, Caryn Sarah-K Aharoni, and his daughters Eleanor Aharoni, Gloria Gardin and Marian Kahn) ”
