Bendet (Lewkowitz), Bajla (Bienenstock), Brenda (Marczak) Rose (Bernbaum), Eva (Wimmer), and myself. I was together with my sisters throughout.
We met Esther Belefeldt while we were in the Lodz Ghetto. After the war in Sweden, she learned that she had lost everyone in her family.  My sisters, my brother Bendet, and I had also lost everyone. Brenda told Esther, “You will be our sixth sister.”  Esther later married our brother Bendet.
