In 1944, the Hungarians came into our village and took us to the ghetto in Munkacs, Czechoslovakia. We were there for about three or four weeks. Then we were put into a boxcar, squeezed together with no bread, water, or sanitary conditions for three days before arriving at Auschwitz.
