My parents and five children
I was one of 850 people who cleaned up the Lodz Ghetto after its liquidation.  My father convinced the authorities to let our family “clean up” the Ghetto. We were one of the few survivors who were allowed to do this.
 
My brother, Israel was killed by members of the Polish anti-Semitic organization (AK), after surviving the Holocaust.
