I was hidden in a monastery by friends, I passed as a Catholic.  I was hidden in Kladno, Czechoslovakia
 
I met my husband after the war in Czechoslovakia.  We immigrated to Israel in 1947.  
                                                            
Where were you in hiding?
Friends hid me in a monastery. I passed as a Catholic.
Where did you settle?
In Israel from 1947 until 1960. We had a small fruit and vegetable market there.
How is it that you came to Michigan?
I found out that my brother Howard Jacobs was alive, living in Oak Park, Michigan. In Israel, after Shabbos (Sabbath) was over, there was a radio program in which the names of survivors looking for other survivors was read. I found out that my brother Howard was alive. My sister Rozie, my husband and I immigrated to Michigan. I had found my sister Rozie in Czechoslovakia after the war.
Occupation after the war
I was in business with my brother in the supermarket business, later I worked in a fruit and vegetable store for twenty years.
